nfoCentrale Is Being Repaved.

The Construction Structure and Content of this site is being repaved by customization of material scavenged from other nfoCentrale sites and the systematic upgrade of the style of this site.

Check the Repaving Project pages for additional details on the approach and its tracking.  Contact the nfoCentrale technical coordinator with questions and to report any defects that you notice.

nfoCentrale has this construction zone for tracking work items in support of the site's front porch and the top level of the site structure, as described on index.htm. This construction zone is superior to all other construction zones of the site.

Every folder in this site is tied into the construction structure.  The construction structure is always enterable via the index.htm page that every folder possesses.  Each index.htm page is the an access point to all other scaffolding of the same section.  The index page also serves as the default page of the section during early construction and sometime for a long time after that.

The construction structure is never removed.  It becomes covered over by introduction of content and new default pages (e.g., default.htm), but the structure remains as the underlying foundation.

There are some folders whose interior structure is not part of the site construction structure because the inner children are generated by automated procedures applied on the hosted site.  That material may be backed-up in mirrors of the hosted site and in the development web, but there is no effort to track such material with detailed construction structure.  This applies, for example, in the case of blogs and wikis where pages are generated on the hosting site and only backed-up to the development site.

Access to the construction structure is always availableConstruction Zone (Hard Hat Area)The "Hard Hat" image in the lower-left corner of ordinary pages  usually provides a link to the Construction Structure index.htm page for the folder where the current page resides.  Each index.htm page links to the nearest Construction Zone in the same folder or in a superior folder.  A construction zone provides a local job jar of "work orders" and construction items.  There may be other materials that are also specific to the construction of the given section and its subordinate folders.

The current construction zone applies to the construction of all pages in the "root" or front-porch of nfoCentrale.  This construction zone is reachable from all construction zones in subordinate folders.  There are no superior construction zones.

If you follow those lower-left hard-hat links, you will eventually reach this front-porch (root) construction zone after passing through any intervening ones.
