.  The "Blog This" interactions and logon requirement are becoming really tiresome.  I have had my moments of truth, I just need to figure out when I will spend time on an alternative.

Meanwhile, here's an interesting CNET article on the secure identity wars. There is a lot of room here for white papers and how-to-do-it items on managing secure identities, trust relationships, and so on. The key thing is transparency, I would say. At the moment, learning about certificates and the little padlock symbol is completely inscrutable for people. So, WS-Federation strikes me as the right idea. And I continue to see IBM as the honest broker here in the interoperability and other wars that are poorly-disguised efforts at containing the Borg.

.  This new Blog This interface is really annoying.

All right, the ebXML folk have advanced their registry specifications to version 2.5 and there are now federated registries and other interesting possibilities.  Hmm, I should be able to dig into all of this in my next course on Web Applications.  Good, it is about time I took this to another level.

.nbsp; Here's a nice organization and approach. The focus on interoperability combined with enterprise architecture is very appealing to me.  A reminder that I need to update my resource pages to provide links as well as bibliographies, and I need a way to scrape my blog for the accumulated links.
